Bachelor's degree or higher
Tutor's Responsibilities:
Implement students goals and objectives as in accordance with IEP and Special Education Case Manager
Utilize appropriate instructional materials
Provide instruction and support to students assigned
Progress monitor student performance
Assist with assessments ( classroom and districtwide)
Communicate progress to classroom teacher/special education case manager
Other duties as assigned by Pupil and Special Education Services and/or building principal
Experience working with students in a school setting preferred and/or demonstrated ability to make connections and provide academic support for such students. Special Education certified perferred.
Successful completion of college level coursework or passing of examination as required by the No Child Left Behind Act.
Schedule:
Hours may vary depending on student/program needs but shall never exceed 19.5 hours per week.
