The Technology Implementation Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to central office end-users and school-based staff, including counselors, social workers, principals, and teachers. The Specialist will support the Student Services System Administrator and the Director, Data Warehousing and IT Operations. As a member of the Office of Information and Technology, the Specialist reports to the Director of Data Warehousing and IT Operations.

Salary :
Salary Plan: Support Non-Exempt Level 13 Starting Salary $53, 166
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Work Year: 12 Months
Qualifications :
- A high school diploma or equivalent work experience in the education field
- Minimum of three years experience in an education environment, with a solid understanding of the application of educational technology by school personnel.
- Ability to cultivate relationships with culturally, educationally, and racially diverse internal and external customers.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while under pressure with multiple competing deadlines
- Ability to exercise a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, poise, tact, and diplomacy to accomplish objectives.
- Ability to innovate, research and think creatively.
- A capacity to solve problems, to stay organized and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of School-based personnel job duties
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint,
Residency Requirements : City of Pittsburgh Residency Required
Essential Job Functions :
- Provide Tier 1 expert level support to end-users of eSchoolPLUS SIS
- Provide Tier 1 expert level support to all Naviance and Student Information System end-users (i.e., Counselors, Nurses, Teachers, SDSSs)
- Provide support to end-users of Power Schools technology
- Provide usernames and credentials to end-users
- Assist in the editing PowerPoint presentations used for professional development (Webinars)
- Effectively communicate, both orally and in written form, with all levels of personnel
Perform work assignments by using the following technology daily: MS Word, Excel. MS Teams and PowerPoint
- Perform other related duties as required
