Position Description:

A Distinctive Schools Community Care Lead will create a safe, joyful place for students to be during after school hours. They will maintain safety guidelines and protocols, communicate with families, track attendance, and supervise the community while students are engaged in activities. This person will:

• Create a joyful, safe place for students to do activities after school
  
• Maintain classroom setup to ensure all local/state/CDC COVID guidelines
  
• Maintain safety guidelines and procedures in school building
  
• Provide oversight of after school space
  
• Record daily attendance
  
• Lead or assist with organized transitions and movement in building
  
• Troubleshoot challenges that may arise in remote learning platforms, programs, or technologies
  
• Implement code of conduct and provide classroom management
  
• Utilize DeansList to record additions/deductions and behavior referrals
  
• Communicate with families at frequency determined by campus
  

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
  
• Must be able to pass a background Check
