Lake Forest School District 67 is seeking a Homebound Instructor for Sheridan Elementary School. This would be after school tutoring up to 10 hours per week.

Description: The tutor provides virtual support for Sheridan Elementary School students. He/she assists students with learning and developing towards academic success.

Responsibilities:

• Provides one-to-one tutoring and support for students.Assists students with monitoring academic progress, and work completion.Assists students with developing study and review habits and skills, prioritizing time, time management, organizing school material and work completion.

Qualifications and Requirement:

• Professional Educators License (PEL) with a Self-Contained General Education endorsement.Effective and efficient communicatorProactive in building positive relationships with studentsExhibits professionalism and maintains confidentiality

Compensation: The position pays $50 per hour.
