GEMS American Academy Abu Dhabi is looking for a qualified and experienced High School Science Teacher who is excited to join our distinguished school and is driven to provide education at an exceptional level. The successful applicant should have the following:

• A certified teaching qualification such as Masters, BEd, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent with a specialization in Science
• Chemistry background preferred
• 2 years' experience in a similar school setting
• Familiarity with standards-based grading and the American curriculum
• Ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues
• Professional commitment to becoming an "Outstanding" Teacher
• A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
• Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents
• Standards-based reporting and grading
