Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (preferably in early childhood)
- Illinois Professional Educator License (current)
- Desire to work in a mission-drive catholic school
- Virtus trained (can provide training if not)
- Job duties will include but are not limited to: supervision of children, class management, lesson planning, daily attendance, and executing early childhood curriculum in accordance with the Archdiocese of Chicago.
- Parent communication via email and through in-person conferences
- Prepare standards-based report cards and progress reports
- Participate in collaborative faculty meetings
- Engage in and support our faith based curriculum
- Participate in regular professional development
- Reports to building principal
- Proficient in Google's G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, JamBoard, Slides, and Classroom)
- Proficient in Google Meet to conduct or participate in virtual meetings.
- Proficient in early childhood assessment and grade reporting
7:30 am - 11:30 am Monday, Wednesday, Friday. All instruction is in person
Compensation:
Hourly, based on the Archdiocese of Chicago teacher's salary scale.
