    • JOB FUNCTION

    Prepare, cook, and serve food for students and supervise the lunchroom

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    This list is not all inclusive and is only intended to illustrate the various responsibilities and duties performed.

    1. Cleans food preparation areas as determined by law

    2. Prepares breakfast/lunch foods to the specifications of district's food services

    3. Makes adjustments to food items as needed

    4. Manages other employees in kitchen

    5. Operates various kitchen equipment - oven, refrigerator, etc.

    6. Keep records and accounts of food deliveries

    7. Orders menu items

    8. Supervises students for breakfast and lunch periods

    9. Help with set up and serving breakfast and lunches

    10. Set up tables, benches, trash cans, prior to the lunch periods
    11. Perform other duties as assigned by the principal

    1. Maintain positive and professional relationships with students and staff

    2. Be dependable, punctual, cooperative and have neat appearance

    3. Be able to communicate with diverse groups of people



    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
    1. High school diploma


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    1. Must have good health and energy to consistently perform tasks in an efficient manner
    2. Capable of serving and assisting students in a lunchroom setting
