Middlesex County Vocational & Technical Schools (MCVTS)**

Middlesex County Vocational and Technical Schools enroll approximately 2,000 high school students and over 7,000 adults annually in five locations around the county.  Graduates come from every cultural and socio-economic group in the County as diversity and individuality are celebrated in the schools.  Nearly 80% of graduates of MCVTS continue their careers caring for the sick, building homes, fixing carts, creating and producing products, and providing skilled technical services in Middlesex County.  Therefore, the education provided by MCVTS is vital to the continued growth and prosperity of Middlesex County. 

The Position
The Board of Education is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of superintendent of schools to commence on or around January 1, 2022. This initial announcement will be supplemented by a Leadership Profile that will consist of expected characteristics, required qualifications, and experience. The Leadership Profile is being developed by the Board for posting on or about August 12, 2021.

Minimally, applicants must have multiple-year, successful, executive-level, educational leadership experience in an organization of comparable size and scope. Experience in vocational and technical education is highly desirable. Candidates must possess a New Jersey School Administrator Certificate or be immediately eligible to obtain the same.

A multi-year contract will be offered with a salary in the range of $220,000/$225,000 per annum subject to negotiation based on qualifications and experience.
