Staff Needed: One (1) Teacher Special Education Cog Mild

Qualifications:

1. Appropriate NJ Teacher of Handicapped or Secondary Teacher Certificate with Teachers of Students with Disabilities Certificate- MUST BE ELECTRONICALLY AVAILABLE IN APPLITRACK
2. Knowledge of NJCCS and Common Core Standards, mandated State Testing (APA/DLM) and Content Area Curriculum
3. Experience working with high school students and children with special needs
4. Ability to interpret and implement students individualized education plans (IEP's)
5. Knowledge of assessment and data analysis for instruction purposes
6. Knowledge of Google Classroom and other computer programs as teaching aides
7. Effective classroom management
8. Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity and good moral character
9. Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with staff and families
10. If current name does not match name on certification, submission of legal name change document is required
11. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, and community

Salary: As Per Negotiated Contract
