Essential Functions and Objectives:

S upports individuals, teams and/or departments through facilitating and regulating a series of activities and work streams. Carries out specific tasks based on established procedures, to ensure a broader set of priorities and objectives are met. Primary focus on execution of assigned tasks in a specific area of responsibility, with a non-technical scope and a high degree of customer service.

T he Program Coordinator, College Readiness Systems is a centrally based position responsible for the visioning and implementation of College Readiness Systems support of high quality Culturally Responsive Education (CRE) College Readiness Assessment resources.

- Provides administrative support and assists in carrying out specific activities, such as: distribution of materials, process documentation, conducting trainings, organizes and submits reports, coordinates responses, develops procedures, and maintaining records and files.

- Assesses and troubleshoots, escalates problems and interacts with stakeholders across the district to resolve problems related to area of responsibility. Exercises discretion to make exceptions to policy. Documents exceptions for compliance record keeping and reporting.

- Ensures appropriate key stakeholder involvement in planning, goal-setting, and implementation to achieve buy-in of work products. Ensures purposeful, positive and professional interactions and relationships with all stakeholders.

- Identifies process inefficiencies and proposes solutions, identifies opportunities through external research on trends in resources, programs, and services and internal research with stakeholders, and supports improvement efforts in order to ensure smooth execution with appropriate participation and support across the district.

- Supports the implementation of college readiness systems across regions of schools. Provide coaching and support to staff at designated sites in relationship to daily instructional practices that infuses content with culturally responsive SAT practices.

- Support school leadership and/or Instructional Leadership Teams (ILT) across schools through attending college readiness systems specific events, co-planning and/or co-facilitation of professional learning, data collection, analysis, and other tasks.

- Model for school leaders and educators how to implement culturally responsive SAT practices.

- Leads Process Improvements Partners and collaborates with other CCS and a school's assessment readiness team.

- Serve as a liaison between CCS and a school's assessment readiness team.

- Develops, in partnership with the Director and Program Manager of Advanced Academics, district-wide P/SAT readiness systems and procedures.

- Lead and cultivate a deeper understanding of and investment in CCS practices with ILT and school staff in support of P/SAT equity for every student.

- Collaborate with CCS supported High Schools and district partners to develop and facilitate professional learning, culturally responsive teaching and P/SAT readiness practices.

- Works with school leaders and contracted partners to effectively create and communicate school level SAT goals, program outcomes and other current assessment strategies.

- Foster continuous, collaborative interaction with cross-functional teams through discussion and directed inquiry around professional practice and culturally responsive education.

- Bolster culturally responsive mindsets and practices within existing programming and professional learning offerings in DPS and provide recommendations for CRE infusion.

- Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data on CRE resources and professional learning to continuously improve CRE strategy.

- Manage internal and external communication regarding concurrent enrollment and post-secondary assessments to ensure consistency in messaging.

- Plans, implements and evaluates strategies to continuously assess and monitor SAT Readiness opportunities, and provides recommendations for and implements improvement of systems and structures.

- Effectively works with high school leads, counselors and administrators to streamline grade level SAT Readiness.

- Effectively collaborates and leads the CRS Team to streamline processes and planning of the CRS SAT Readiness component including but not limited to contracted partners services, practice testing, data use, PREP class implementations, and supports.

- Represents CCS on regional and statewide initiatives as appropriate.

K nowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:

- Three (3) years of relevant work experience.

- Knowledge with Google Suite products.
