Building based substitutes work in a variety of instructional capacities including, but not limited to: General Education, Special Education, AIS and Advanced/Honors/AP settings. Participate in all building events and may substitute at per diem rate on fifth day

Additional Job Information : 1. NYS certification in Secondary 5-9, 7-12 extensions
2. Successful experience with integration of secondary level CCLS instruction
3. Ability to use assessments to differentiate instruction and improve student achievement
4. Positive class management skills
5. Strong use of technology to support professional responsibilities; ability to integrate technology into instruction
6. Evidence of academic success at undergraduate and/or graduate level
7. Strong written and oral communication skills
8. Strong work ethic; ability to collaborate with team/school
