General Statement of Duties:
Closing Date: This position closes on Monday, August 30, 2021.
Performs technical paraprofessional civil engineering and supervisory work in the field and in the office; does related work as required.
Essential Duties:
General knowledge of transportation, planning, and engineering; function knowledge of Information Systems, Microsoft Office Suite and other related software; ability to work independently with limited supervision, and as part of a team; capable of a high level of organization, including record keeping, database management,and coordination; ability to interface with the general public; a physicalability to perform field activities; and ability to publish information online.
Examplesof Work
Create, review, and coordinate official project documents; assist in maintaining an updated web presence; virtual and physical site assessments; and undertake research and data analysis.
Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of a two (2)-year associate's degree in a related engineering discipline and three (3)years of related paraprofessional engineering experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge,skills, and abilities.
Additional Information:
A valid driver's license to perform assigned duties at various locations Countywide as required.
