We are presently seeking qualified professionals for multiple full-time and part-time ESL instructor, Paraeducator, Computer Assisted Language Lab Instructor (CALL Instructor), and Tutor positions that support the School’s student-centric mission in various ways.

  • Providing excellent remote and/or in person contextualized instruction appropriate for student’s diverse educational backgrounds, learning styles and English language skills
  • Working with students in small groups and individually
  • Providing practical hands-on exercises that allow students to gain experience using the computer
  • Assisting students in level appropriate listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills

Available Positions:    

ESL Instructor - The ESL instructor supports the school’s mission by providing excellent in-person and/or remote instruction that supports students’ diverse educational backgrounds, learning styles, English language, and technological abilities.  The instructor is responsible for creating materials specific to the assigned level, selecting class textbooks, designing a class syllabus, and writing daily lesson plans to directly address all student needs.  The instructor is expected to engage with multiple forms of data, both formal and informal, to help students advance academically.  Additionally, the role of the ESL Instructor requires the management of key data points and other administrative responsibilities that extend beyond the time spent teaching.

Computer Assisted Language Lab Instructor (CALL Instructor) – The CALL Instructor supports the school’s mission by providing excellent in-person and/or remote instruction that supports students’ diverse educational backgrounds, learning styles, and language abilities The instructor teaches ESL students, technology skills while integrating ESL and CALL objectives. They also co-plan with ESL teachers to create a cohesive lesson plan that integrates English learning in a technology environment and prepare students to be safe and effective online.

Tutor - The ESL Tutor supports the school’s mission by providing excellent in-person and/or distance learning instruction that supports students’ diverse educational backgrounds, learning styles, and English language abilities.  The responsibilities of the position include assisting the ESL teacher in instructing students in level-appropriate listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.  The Tutor will use a variety of student-centered instructional techniques to respond to the student’s individual needs, by creating materials specific to the assigned level, selecting supplemental materials from textbooks, and utilizing the teacher’s class syllabus as a reference point for writing daily lesson plans to directly address all student needs. 

Paraeducator -The Paraeducator serves under the direct supervision of the instructor and the instructor’s direct supervisor.  The incumbent’s primary duty is to support and enhance an effective in-person and/or distance learning environment and student achievement by working with students in small groups and individually. The Paraeducator provides the instructor with qualitative data and cultural insight that helps them tailor instruction to support each student’s unique challenges and at times, leads class activities at the instructor’s request. 

Available Schedules:

            Full-time - Monday-Friday 9:00 am– 12:00 pm & Monday – Thursday 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Part-time - Monday-Thursday 6:00 pm -9:00 pm.
