• Assist with coordination of inclusion of youth with disabilities in inclusive programs and recreational activities.
• Duties include: Supervising, coaching and training recreation inclusion staff; assessing participants' support needs and creating and implementing inclusion plans of support; some direct support of participants.
• Collaborating with site directors to promote inclusive programming with staff.
• Other duties as specified by supervisor.

Work Location: Locations Vary

Hours of work: Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-6:00pm

FTE/Hours Per Week:
About 15 per week

Salary:

$15/hour

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Must be familiar with support strategies for including youth with Autism, ADHD, Emotional and Behavioral disabilities and a variety of other disabilities in recreation programs.
• Must have demonstrated supervisory skills.
• Must have access to own car during academic year for travel between sites (paid mileage).
• Must have proven reliability, dependability, and team work. Must have good oral and written communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

Desired Qualifications:

• CPR and First Aid certification a plus (or be willing to be trained).
• Crisis Management and Intervention Training, Managing Threatening Confrontations training, Non-Violent Crisis Prevention training or the like are a plus.

Other Information:

Hours of work: Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-6:00pm (15 hours/week); Most Monday shifts may have hours for early release day between 12:30-6:00pm (start/end times vary depending on week and sites supporting)

Work Location: East and West sides of MSCR boundaries
