This is a grant-funded position and continuation of the position is solely based upon the receipt of grant funds. The grant funding will terminate on June 30, 2024.

GENERAL PURPOSE

This position is responsible for supporting the instructional program with by obtaining, monitoring and managing ESSER federal and state funding; providing information and serving as a resource to others; and implementing and maintaining services within established guidelines and standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Coordinates and manages ESSER federal, state, local and/or foundation funding and related reporting requirements to ensure compliance.

Analyzes a variety of program and/or student related data identifying the relevant issues and recommending or implementing a plan of action that will provide direction and support to efficiently address immediate needs.

Serves as the District expert for ESSER federal and state granting agency requirements and criteria.

Provides technical assistance to district personnel in seeking funding opportunities and proposal development.

Writes competitive grant proposals.

Remains familiar with relevant state and/or federal legislation.

Supervises, evaluates and manages diverse staff.

Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to implement and/or maintain services and programs.

Coordinates program components, support needs, and materials delivering services in compliance with established guidelines.

Participates in meetings, workshops, and conferences conveying and gathering information.

Prepares a wide variety of materials documenting activities, providing written reference, gathering and/or conveying information.

Researches a variety of information gathering and/or disseminating information as needed.

Responds to inquiries for the purpose of resolving problems, providing information and/or referring to appropriate personnel.

Performs other related duties as required/assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in education, business administration, communications, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Minimum of four (4) years of successful experience in education, with preference for experience with grant management and administration.

Certificates, Licenses and Other Special Requirements

Missouri Teaching Credential or Administrator Credential, preferred.

Must pass a Criminal Background Clearance the results of which must be satisfactory to the District, required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of perform algebra and/or geometry; read technical information, compose a variety of documents, and/or facilitate group discussions; and solve practical problems.

Knowledge based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include bookkeeping principles; concepts of grammar and punctuation; and office application software including relational databases.

Skill to perform multiple, technical tasks with a need to routinely upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.

Skill based competencies required to perform the functions of the job, including operating standard office equipment including using a variety of software applications; planning and managing projects; and preparing and maintaining accurate records.

Ability to read technical information, compose a variety of documents, and/or facilitate group discussions.

Ability to analyze situations to define issues, draw conclusions and create action plans.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Work environment is primarily inside, where the noise and temperature levels are moderate.

The work is light work that requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force to move objects.

Must possess the physical ability to perceive the nature of sounds, make rational decisions through sound logic and deductive processes, express or exchange ideas by the spoken word, substantial movements (motions) with the hands, wrists, and/or fingers, and discern letters or numbers at a given distance.
