Description of Service Opportunity
EdTech educator professional learning opportunities will be updated and offered beginning in August 2021, and this coordinator position is necessary to ensure content is created, vetted, aligned, shared, and reviewed. In coordination with Instructional Technology Specialists, the EdTech Professional Learning Summer Coordinator will work under the direction of the Assistant Director of Educational Technology to coordinate a comprehensive offering of professional learning to support educators, students and families with distance learning resources.
Responsibilities will include developing a template for asynchronous online learning modules, gathering content, recording educators sharing their use of various technology tools, collaborating with colleagues to align modules around best practices for adult online learning, and joining regular meetings with the Assistant Director of Educational Technology to monitor progress.
Beyond supporting educator professional learning, the Coordinator will also identify and develop resources to support students and families that align with the technology tools used by various grade levels to support distance learning

Minimum Requirements / Job Qualifications
Advanced understanding of G Suite tools, Screencastify, SeeSaw, Aspen, EdPuzzle, and WeVideo. Understanding of pedagogical practices related to online learning and experience providing support through email, screencasts, tutorials, and video conferencing. High level of organization and communication skills to manage the project effectively.

Contract Amount
$36 per hour not to exceed $2,500.00
