SUMMARY:
The 21stCCLC Supervisor works with teachers, staff, families, community experts, and students to implement and oversee the success of the JSD 21st Century Community Learning Centers. At the elementary school centers, the afterschool and summer program provide academic enrichment. Additionally, high school credit opportunities are organized at Yaakoosge Daakahidi. The Supervisor works collaboratively with the RALLY program, Zach Gordon Youth Center and other after school and summer programs to supplement programming.

This position coordinates the delivery of after school programs for both elementary and high school students, summer school programs for elementary students, Saturday tutoring and homework assistance sessions for high school students, and intensive summer high school credit courses.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities.

• Bachelor's degree required in related field.
• Experience in instructional program design.
  
• Efficient and professional writing, communication and organizational skills.
  
• Ability to work productively with diverse populations across all grade levels.
  
• Ability to facilitate collaboration amongst teachers of all grade levels.
  
• Experience with basic computer skills.
  
• Experience coordinating family and community volunteers and partnerships.
  
• Experience supervising staff.
  
  Preferred Requirements:
  
• Experience in after school or summer program management and coordination.
  
• Experience/knowledge of early childhood development.
  
• Experience in instructional leadership.
  
• Behavior and classroom management skills.

Compensation: This job class is a Classified Exempt position working 261 days (12 months). Salary range L on the Classified Exempt Salary Schedule - the range is roughly $62,000 - $95,000. Salary placement will be determined upon the successful candidate's experience and qualifications. We also offer an excellent benefit package including health, dental, vision and life insurance, Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), and paid sick and vacation days.
