Job Title: 3rd Grade Teacher Full Time

Saints Faith, Hope and Charity is seeking a Full Time 3rd grade teacher in a self-contained classroom. Responsibilities include managing a homeroom and teaching content area curriculum including religion. Experience with Google Classroom, Lucy Calkins and guided reading preferred. Saints Faith, Hope and Charity is a PK - 8 Catholic school located in Winnetka, IL and is a school where students grow in heart, mind and soul.

About the position:
Major Responsibilities of the teacher
- Intermediate level classroom teacher
- Lead teacher of a 3rd grade classroom with supportive and engaged families
- Develop curriculum aligned to elementary learning standards in collaboration with other members of the primary grades team as needed
- Other duties and supervision responsibilities as assigned by the principal
Reports to: Principal

Requirements

- Skillset/ability to perform all major responsibilities listed above

- Cultural fit (FHC is a Catholic school)
- Technology savvy as defined by proficiency in using technology in the classroom for instructional use and for organizational requirements (attendance, gradebook, manage Google Classroom, manage a teacher webpage, etc)
Salary and Benefits
Pay rate is determined by the Archdiocese of Chicago Office of Catholic Schools and is commensurate with the highest educational attainment and years of applicable experience.
