Associate Manager, Marketing, Elementary ELA

Amplify is seeking an enthusiastic, results-oriented Associate Manager, Elementary ELA Marketing to join the team. The Associate Manager, Elementary ELA Marketing will support product marketing initiatives for Amplify Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA), our rapidly growing core elementary curriculum for PreK-5.

This position will report to the Director, Elementary ELA Marketing to implement Amplify CKLA campaigns, content marketing, sales support, sampling and other critical results. The ideal candidate collaborate and communicates well across teams and is able to prioritize competing demands.

The Associate Manager will help craft the marketing strategy and help grow a national customer base by developing collateral and positioning, driving marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, events), and conducting competitive analyses.

Responsibilities of the Associate Manager:
  • Writing and developing materials. Play a critical role in the development of materials for product launches, campaigns, and sales enablement. Examples include developing one-pagers, brochures, case studies, scripts for marketing videos, blog posts, emails, landing pages, and microsites.
  • Planning and executing marketing campaigns. Manage lead generation and nurture campaigns from start to finish across a variety of digital channels, including but not limited to paid media, email, organic and paid social, and SEM.
  • Building deep product expertise. Stay informed of product development, serve as a resource to the sales team on the Amplify CKLA product line, and build expertise to guide the sales team in their conversations with customers.
  • Conducting market research. Assist in market research by researching the competitive landscape and conducting market surveys and present findings to internal key partners.
  • Creating content. Develop compelling content marketing that resonates with literacy educators and moves prospects through awareness, consideration, and conversion phases of the buyer's journey. Examples include creating listicles, microsites, blog posts, e-books, videos, landing pages, and emails.
  • Developing sampling solutions. Contribute to the print and digital sampling strategy for Amplify CKLA, creating and maintaining the Bill of Materials for sampling solutions such as stadium boxes and sample bags and supporting the Director, Elementary ELA Marketing in the development of reviewer materials.
  • Evangelizing the product roadmap. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers to internalize, inform, and communicate the product roadmap, including supporting product launches and creating internal and external tools to translate the value of new product features and new editions to the sales team and prospects.
  • Maintaining website and sales portal. Update all Amplify CKLA product pages on Amplify.com, drafting biweekly Sales Blast updates, and ensure the Sales Hub is up to date.


Basic Qualifications of the Associate Manager:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of marketing experience in education publishing or ed-tech
  • Experience writing and editing marketing materials
  • Experience executing successful lead generation and nurture campaigns
  • Proven experience gathering and interpreting data for marketing campaigns
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate between multiple key partners at varying levels of an organization
  • Proven experience conducting research and organizing findings
