Join National Heritage Academies (NHA) as a Performance Consultant. This position will report directly to the Manager of Engagement and Development and is responsible for employee performance requirements, processes, systems, and tools for all NHA schools and the Service Center.

Your Role

  • Champion a mindset shift where employee performance feedback is viewed as an integral part of development and professional growth all year long rather than an annual compliance item.
  • Help to define and design employee performance processes, procedures, and tools based on internal and external best practices.
  • Research federal and state educator effectiveness and evaluation legislation.
  • Ensure that our evaluation tools are reliable, valid, and in compliance with state evaluation requirements.
  • Oversee performance reporting requirements and audits.
  • Take ownership for the technical system where we manage employee performance.
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with other team members, departments, school employees, and vendors.
  • Work with manager and team to ensure execution of tasks and deliverables.
  • Forecast growth needs, create efficiencies, and identify solutions related to team's functional area.
  • Communicates effectively with various levels of the organization.
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Position requires a high degree of professionalism, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, judgment, detail orientation, communication, maturity, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills utilized to prioritize workload.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to pivot and shift focus quickly when the situation requires it.
  • Ability to work effectively with leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Attentiveness to details without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience (preferred).
