CMS seeks a Special Education Teacher (Mild to Moderate) for the 2021-22 school year and beyond. Experience with Severe Needs and/or Language Development (Dual Language schools) are pluses.

Starting rate is $222.00 per day. Based on education and years of experience

Required Qualifications:

* Colorado Teaching License - Special Education Generalist

Desired Qualifications:

* Elementary teaching experience

* Experience teaching a diverse population of students including English Language Learners and previous work with intentionally implementing culturally responsive instruction

* Strong background in literacy and mathematics instruction

Desired Core Competencies:

* Openness to coaching, feedback, and reflection in order to continuously improve practices.

* Values driven instructional leadership and professionalism

* Personal ownership and passion for improving outcomes for all learners
