Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, plus five years of progressive video and data communications experience, three years of which shall have been in broadcast and/or streaming systems operation. Knowledge in systems integration, networking, video compression, streaming, and software based control systems; knowledge of Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers standards; knowledge of the theory, principles, and practices of engineering design and functional applications for all aspects of video and data network transport protocols; and knowledge of industry standards of practice and regulations applicable to communications systems.
