Description

• Establish objectives; procedures and necessary resources to design and implement program evaluations
• Prepare interim reports, technical reports, final reports, letters, and internal memoranda
• Edit reports for technical precision, accuracy and editorial correctness
• Compile and analyze statistics using District databases and interpret results
• Provide functional planning expertise to meet the District’s targets
• Work with other offices within the department to integrate activities to meet District’s targets
• Keep abreast of technical, legislative, and professional trends and developments impacting assigned projects, and, disseminate information to appropriate personnel as needs dictate
• Communicate with administrators, Board members, parents and community members as necessary regarding evaluation plans, procedures or results
• Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Accredited Master's Degree (Ph. D. preferred) with emphasis in Research, Evaluation, Measurement, Statistics and/or Computer Science
• Must have a minimum of 24 graduate hours of B or better in research design, statistics, evaluation methodologies, measurement theory, planning or computer programming
• Must have exemplary academic credentials and experience designing, monitoring, and implementing, program evaluations
• Ability to communicate to meet the diversity of the community, district staff members and the public at large
• Ability to write reports requiring technical precision, accuracy, readability, and editorial correctness.
• Must have exemplary strategic and operational planning skills required to implement districtwide planning, evaluation and accountability projects
• Ability to manipulate data files from large databases
