Qualifications:
Master's degree. Six years of progressively more responsible teaching, supervisory, or administrative experience in the education field of specialization, some of which shall have been in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Postgraduate educational license with teaching endorsement(s) appropriate to assignment. Endorsement in administration and supervision PreK-12. Knowledge of theories, procedures, practices, materials, methods, and regulations and/or legislation related to the section or office assigned. Knowledge of federal and state policies and regulations as it relates to grants management. Skill in personnel, financial, and administrative management. Ability to manage, evaluate, and supervise program activities and personnel. Ability to maintain working relationships with school, county, and outside agency personnel. Ability to effectively lead teams in multiple projects. Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups. Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
