The Fort Lee Public Schools serves over 4000 students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. Fort Lee is a Bergen County, NJ suburb of New York City that encompasses approximately 2.6 square miles, with a population of 37,430. The district takes pride in their innovative and award winning Pre-K to 12 programs that have been ranked in the top 100 by NJ Monthly and aresupported by a $85.3m budget, major capital commitments, highly trained and dedicated staff, a supportive board and committed parents. The district is seeking a dynamic professional with a proven track record in educational leadership who will deliver a vision for excellence, achievement and personal growth among students and faculty; build a relationship with the community stakeholders; and work with the board to address current and future challenges. The BOE seeks a superintendent with a demonstrated record of student-centered initiatives; strong instructional and administrative leadership; open communication and collaboration; and a clear commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
