Horning Middle School has a comprehensive house model for all learners. You would serve on a collaborative 7th grade team to provide core instruction to students. You would be responsible for providing instruction in the areas of Math and Science. The assignment would be from ASAP to November 18th, 2021

At the heart of the house structure at Horning is a dedicated school-wide advisory period. At Horning Middle School, the advisory period is critically important to ensuring student's needs are met, both academically and socially/emotionally. The advisor serves as the student's point person within the house system.

Horning is a 1:1 iPad school, seeking a collaborative, innovative teacher leader. This involves planning quality instruction, executing purposeful lessons, and evaluating student-learning outcomes to inform future instructional decisions.

Candidates should also have a passion for modeling positive contributions to the school culture through high expectations and rigor. An interest in working with diverse students and families is required.
