Full-time translator, bilingual in Spanish and English. Applicants must be fluent in both languages for spoken phone conversations and face-to-face meetings and in writing for translating district documents and school letters to parents/families of elementary students from English into Spanish. Proficiency in Word and Excel preferred.
The schedule will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, according to the student school day at the assigned site.Work year is equal to the student school year, (181 days) plus additional days as needed for professional development.
Positions available:
Vogel Wetmore Elementary School - school hours =8:40am - 3:40pm
Southwest Elementary School & Forbes Elementary School (shared) - school hours = 8:40am - 3:40pm
Torrington High School - school hours = 7:15am - 2:15pm
