Job Type: Part-time- Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30am until 3:00pm to fill an extended leave of absence beginning 2/22/22 for 12 weeks.
JOB GOAL:
- To develop in each student an understanding of the relationship of good exercise; to motivate each student to cultivate physical fitness, hygienic habits, and good social and emotional adjustment.
- To discover and develop talents of students in physical achievement.
- To develop strength, skill, agility, poise, and coordination in individual, dual, and team physical activities and sports.

- Possesses Job Specific Skills required to meet teacher responsibilities
PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead activities that correlate to the Illinois Learning Standards across grade levels for P.E.
- Check and maintain all sports related equipment
- Collaborate on progress reports for students with gross motor concerns
- Help students set fitness goals and monitor over the year to help support maintenance of these goals
- Coordinate annual Field Day for students in the Spring
- Reports to the principal
