National Heritage Academies (NHA) is hiring a Talent Acquisition Consultant (TAC) to join our corporate Service Center in a temporary capacity. TACs are part of the Talent Acquisition Department, a team that supports 90 schools managed by National Heritage Academies (NHA). The primary function of a TAC is to partner with hiring managers as they manage the full cycle recruiting process associated with attracting, assessing, and selecting top talent in the hiring of exempt and non-exempt positions. TACs can impact schools directly as they are responsible for explaining our organization and company culture, building great relationships, and providing strong customer service to all our clients, both internal and external.

Your Role

  • Facilitate all aspects of the full cycle recruiting process including but not limited to conducting intake sessions, securing budget approvals, sourcing, screening and evaluation of candidates, and offer negotiations.
  • Build business relationships with hiring managers to allow for consultation and training on hiring best practices.
  • Provide strategic staffing solutions and offer recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Maintain awareness of current events tied to education and market knowledge of the TAC's assignment.
  • Build candidate relationship, articulating the benefits of the role and the organization.
  • Research and identify sourcing avenues and advertising locations in print, online and within social media platforms.
  • Manage the efforts of contingency and retained search firms by setting expectations, negotiating terms, and communicating the progress to the internal client.
  • Direct the daily activities of a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Lead and/or participate in process improvement projects.
  • Travel up to 15% may be required.
  • Act as a brand ambassador and promote NHA as an employer of choice through career events, seminars, and day-to-day communications.
  • Adjust work availability during peak seasons to ~55 hours per week including nights and weekends as needed.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, communications, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Previous experience in recruitment required.
  • Preferred experience with recruiting and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to build consultative relationships with hiring managers.
  • Exhibit high energy, enthusiasm, and emotional intelligence.
  • Must have tenacity, resilience, and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to always manage confidential information and display professionalism.
  • Excellent organization, planning, and time management.
  • Ability to balance and delegate competing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
