Qualifications/Certifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 1. High school diploma, or equivalent, or Special Diploma.
* 2. Two-(2) years journeyman level experience as an automotive or diesel mechanic or 1 year in Brevard County School District's Bus or support vehicle maintenance facility, with favorable evaluation * of skill levels from the Shop Supervisor and Assistant Director.
* 3. Valid Florida Commercial Driver License (CDL), Class B or higher with air brakes and passenger endorsement (must be obtained within three (3) months of appointment).
* 4. Valid ASE certification in Heavy Duty Truck Repair, School Bus Repair, and/or Automobile Repair, preferred.
* 5. Computer skills, preferred.
