POSITION SUMMARY
In this role, the Director will utilize multiple sourcing methods to facilitate the identification and selection of high-quality, diverse talent, internal and external, applicants for assistant principal, principal, and central office leadership positions. The primary role of this position is to manage applicant pools for administrative positions; working as a partner with senior leaders and the Superintendent to identify candidates and conduct interviews for key positions. This Director also works closely with the Offices of Schools and Academics and external partners to support school improvement efforts through effective leadership pipelines and developmental opportunities.

This Director also works closely with the Offices of Schools and Academics and external partners to support school improvement efforts through effective leadership pipelines and developmental opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Recruits, screens, interviews and extends job offers to school administrators and other central office leadership candidates
- Participates in strategic planning and program evaluation to develop creative and effective leadership recruitment strategies grounded in research and best practices
- Provides guidance and assistance to administrators, supervisors, and employees on human resources issues and concerns related to leadership positions (e.g. information on salary, transfers)
- In partnership with the Offices of Schools and Academics, coordinates the school leadership interview panels and trains panelist in interview procedures
- Oversees the successful execution of school leader interview days, including scheduling candidates,interviewers, facilities, logistics and workers
- Delivers professional learning and provides coaching to current and aspiring leaders related to resumewriting, interviewing, and entry plans
- Serves as the HR representative for district-wide leadership development programs, such as Relay GSE,TNTP, Rensselaerville Institute, and Metro RESA iLEAD
- Leads and manages the selection process for principal and assistant principal vacancies with fidelity,which requires coordination with the Superintendent's Office, Local School Governance Teams (GO Teams), Associate Superintendents and other key stakeholders
- Utilizes human resources technology, such as video interviews, screening assessments and applicant tracking systems, to screen and communicate with leadership candidates
- Provides supervision and direction to support staff
- Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator
- Required to attend scheduled shift during regular business hours as mandated

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, school leadership or related field
- Master's degree is preferred
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
- School leadership certification in GA or out-of-state equivalent is preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 7 years of successful work experience in K-12 Human Resources and/or school leadership with progressive responsibility
- Must have experience interviewing and screening candidates for employment in education and delivering professional development
