Elementary & Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Evaluation Program Manager |Position Funded for Three Years
FUNCTIONAL PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to provide evaluation support for the programs funded by the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) fund. The evaluation support will include evaluation planning and design, data collection as needed, analysis, reporting, and interpretation of evaluation results and continuous and quality improvement.
The ESSER Evaluation Analyst will be expected to regularly report on the success of ESSER funded projects as well as provide direction to key stakeholders regarding opportunities for improvement. This position will work with the Data Sharing Project Team and will have access to systems of support that allow for greater levels of customer service for stakeholders. The position will work closely with ESSER program leads and will be supervised by the Chief Equity and Accountability Officer at Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Works with ESSER program leads to develop logic models for evaluation.
•Gathers and reports data related to students served by ESSER programs.
•Generates reports for funders that outlines progress made towards objectives defined in the ESSER grans and previously established logic models.
•Completes evaluations and recommended next steps for ESSER program leads on quarterly and annual basis.
•Provides updates to community stakeholders on services provided by the ESSER Grant.
•Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Excellent ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and statistical software (SAS, SPSS, or R).
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with a variety of different stakeholders.
• Strong statistics and evaluation training.
• Skills in creative problem solving.
• Ability to work independently.
Job Qualification
Pay Grade PSM2 | Full-time | 12 Months | Minimum Annual Salary $65,860
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum: Master's Degree in Educational Research and Measurement AND two years work experience with statistics and data management.
