As the Field Marketing Manager, you are responsible for building and nurturing existing relationships with our sales account teams to support new business acquisition, growth, and retention. You are multifaceted and have successfully led a wide range of client and project types, through trusted partnership, stakeholder alignment, seamless execution of campaigns, and measurable results of success. You will partner with our Sales Directors, their teams, and the Marketing functions to deliver high-impact work to support sales in hitting their targets.
You are a self-starter, curious, and dig in to understand your clients, and their business. In this role, your client is your assigned sales account teams. You love being a trusted partner and are consistent and effective in your delivery. Getting into the details is something you do because it helps you understand your clients' day-to-day, and how to best support them with solutions that hit the mark. You tackle problem solving creatively, and know who to bring in, and when to do so efficiently. You are effective at actively listening, you are a natural presenter and describe yourself as a people person.
Your primary focus day-to-day will be on managing a portfolio of assigned sales account teams and ensuring smooth delivery of work through communications, project scoping, deadline management, creating strategy briefs, campaign tracking, and influencing ideas across multiple stakeholders within projects. Your work reaches across teams, including sales, product, content, social, web, operations, creative/design, events, and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
  • Be the primary contact for the sales account teams you manage.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships with these teams by providing high-impact and effective solutions to sales.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive outreach, a communication strategy, and maintain plans to manage needs and resolve issues.
  • Achieve marketing targets as defined by field and demand marketing objectives.
  • Plan and prioritize campaigns and activities in alignment with your respective clients, resources, budgets, and timelines.
  • Stay current and knowledgeable about NWEA Products and Services and the education market, including issues, trends, relevant laws, and competition.
  • Inform account teams about marketing campaigns, programs, and tactics on a regular and proactive basis.
  • Be attentive to detail and your commitments to deliver quality work on time, every time.
  • Provide well researched, clear plans and recommendations for each campaign.
  • Partner with marketing and sales stakeholders to facilitate cross-functional teams and to ensure client satisfaction, successful implementation, and creative solutions.
  • Own strategy deliverables and report on KPI's/Metrics within campaigns.
  • Strong ability to prioritize deadlines and manage multiple workstreams as an individual contributor.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects and deliver quick results.
  • Strong verbal presentation/storytelling skills, writing skills and excellent interpersonal relationship building skills.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education, or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of account management, strategy and marketing experience preferred. Event and experiential marketing experience are desired.
  • Demonstrated skills in relationship building, supporting, and collaborating with direct sales organizations or with a client.
  • Experience in the field of education (K-12), desired, but not required.
