Arlington Public Schools (APS) announces openings for the position of Director of Finance.  The Director of Finance interprets and advises principals, administrators, and staff on accounting and payroll procedures.

Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in accounting or public/business administration, plus extensive experience in public school budgeting, accounting, and financial management, preferably including supervisory experience.  A CPA or advanced degree is preferred.  Salary and benefits are extremely competitive for the region.  Screening will start immediately.
