Description

• Processes bi-weekly payroll for a large volume of employees
• Receives and processes Laserfiche attendance forms submitted by bi-weekly staff
• Submits payroll corrections to payroll department via Laserfiche
• Prepare and submit time detail reports to management for review
• Provides overtime data to service center management for review and action
• Conducts routine audits to ensure accuracy of time detail reports
• Runs reports, reviews and tracks supplemental activity code usage as needed
• Communicates department wide payroll issues or concerns to Director and department payroll coordinator
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and confidentiality when assisting employees with payroll issues or concerns
• Performs all related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:

• Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A equivalency) required
• One (1) year of clerical experience required
• Possess thorough knowledge of Dallas ISD and its policies, preferred
• Practices integrity with highly sensitive and confidential information
• Ability to understand, explain and apply written and oral instructions, practices and procedures.
• Experience with payroll
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and various other computer programs
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability create detailed and accurate reports, and meet deadlines
• Demonstrates leadership with proper attendance and punctuality
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
