Job Details
The job of ERP System Specialist is responsible for maintaining and training on the ERP software system; serving as a resource to users for the ERP system (Human Capital, Payroll and Finance management); setting roles and permissions; performing systems tests to identify software errors; working with employees to gather necessary requirements for streamlining processes; developing and/or customizing a wide variety of reports for internal and external use; responding to written and verbal requests for reports, data extracts, and availability of data; and overseeing the validity and accuracy of the ERP system.

Essential Functions
- Serves as the software administrator (conducts training, monitors for system updates, database auditing, etc.) for all Finance, Human Resources and Payroll processes in the software
- Sets up and maintains all users for the purpose of ensuring role based securities, menu access, permissions, user attribute role assignments, workflow settings, and business rules for each approver
- Sets up and maintains Tyler HUB, Cloud Admin, Saas Dashboard, and Tyler Content Manager
- Sets up and maintains any other software functions or modules that are developed or implemented in the software system (i.e. TripTracker, Tyler Deployment)
- Sets up and maintains Finance and Purchasing forms (Tyler Forms)
- Conducts orientation and in-service training for individuals, schools, departments, and outside agencies for the purpose of providing ongoing support and maximizing the capabilities of data users
- Trains users on accounting practices and procedures - helps organize and update the Accounting Manual annually
- Unlocks and resets login credentials in CloudAdmin.
- Ensures financial utilities are scheduled, finalized, and error free
- Maintains the active directory for ERP users
- Implements upgrades and trains users on new functionality
- Designs a wide variety of queries and reporting options across all district systems for the purpose of responding to requests for specific data and developing new reports
- Evaluates requests for support from a variety of internal and external sources for the purpose of creating and delivering information within requested timelines
- Helps maintain the training website, user manual and electronic training documents, files, and records (reporting calendars; design specifications, documentation, distribution lists, etc.) for the purpose of providing up-to-date reference and audit trail
- Prepares a variety of written materials (export documentation, import specifications, data file layouts, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference, and/or conveying information
- Researches data sources, specialized reporting techniques, training methods, etc. for the purpose of improving productivity, data security, and recommending products that meet district requirements
- Responds to inquiries from internal and external parties for information and data extraction for the purpose of resolving problems, providing information, and/or referring to appropriate personnel
- Attends TylerConnect and User Group conferences annually

Requirements
High school diploma
Three (3) years' experience in accounting/bookkeeping functions or equivalent required; five (5) years' experience
Knowledge and experience in Munis or similar ERP systems
Experience with Business Services and Human Resources processes preferred
Knowledge of local policies, state, and federal rules and regulations preferred
Physical Requirements
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity.
Generally the job requires 90% sitting, 5% walking, and 5% standing.
