Summary of Duties:
Primary duties include management of the food service program at the secondary level in accordance with local, state and federal policies and procedures. Oversees all of the secondary school cafeteria employees to ensure they are following the highest standards of food preparation, sanitation, and safety in order to make sure that all meals prepared are appealing, nutritious and they meet with the National School Lunch Program requirements. Assist the Food Service Coordinator with menu planning, recipes and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or GED. Must have at least 2 years experience and training in the food service field. Must be able to effectively interact with children of secondary school age, work as part of a food service team in completing job duties, be able to work on multiple tasks at one time and effectively communicate with others. Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs.

Salary Range:
$12.90 - $27.71 per hour plus benefits package

Workday:
Full-time/ 10-month position (190 days), 7.0 hours per day, Monday through Friday
