    The Treasury and Banking Manager's responsibilities are divided between managing the AOC's internal bank and treasury operations for the Pastoral Center, one of the central units of the Archdiocese. This includes ensuring adequate liquidity for each, overseeing the loan activity and developing and implementing initiatives to streamline and automate processes while ensuring adequate controls. There is frequent interaction with parish staff as well as bankers and other financial providers. The Manager oversees two individuals and reports to the Treasury, Banking and Investment Director.

    Responsibilities:
    • Oversee day-to-day treasury operations (e.g. daily cash position, monthly cash projections, liquidity management) including bank and treasury vendors relationships.
    • Manage Arch Bank operations, ensuring ongoing stability and solvency of the internal bank. Coordinate with the Parish Operations department to administer and monitor loan/ deposit activity with parishes and follow up with parishes as necessary.
    • Provide tactical banking and treasury operations support, controls and/or shared services for the other Archdiocesan offices and parishes/schools, as needed, to ensure effective and efficient operations and proper internal controls.
    • Support debt covenant compliance and reporting requirements for third party debt.
    • Lead and develop the banking team. Implement processes to set and achieve individual/team goals, assess performance of team members, and develop employees. Align the goals of the team to the Treasury needs of the Archdiocese.
    • Coordinate applicable transactions with Investment Associate and provide back up to investment processes.
    Requirements:
    • 7-10 years of experience in treasury operations, including managing team members in a mid to large size organization or not-for-profit.
    • Excellent cash management operational and technical knowledge, with solid understanding of bank systems, their products/services. Familiarity with Jack Henry a plus.
    • Working knowledge of commercial banking operations and lending practices.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with bankers, Finance and non-Finance members, including parish staff and pastors, building confidence and trust.
    • Undergraduate degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics.
    • Demonstrated high integrity and ethics in all operations and responsibilities
