L.E.A.D Project Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
REPORTS TO: Executive Director of Teaching & Learning
JOB GOAL: Responsible for developing a plan to create a plan for students to engage in wrap-around services to achieve both personal and academic success. The Project Director will also create a program that will focus on helping children develop social-emotional skills, character, leadership, positive identity, persistence, belief in oneself, internal motivation, and community engagement. The Project Director will deliver a highly engaging program built to provide students with the skills and resources needed to achieve academic success while becoming an active member of the local community.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Work year as established by the Board of Directors. Salary established by district adopted salary schedules. This is a year round position.
EVALUATION: Job performance will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
L.E.A.D Project Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years prior work experience in education
- Bachelor's degree. Preferred: Early childhood education, elementary education, or a related field
- Prior leadership experience preferred.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the District may find appropriate and acceptable.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a team of educators and/or assistant teachers to ensure the delivery of engaging, interactive educational experiences and curriculum.
- Develop strong relationships with students, parents, staff, administrators, and external partners.
- Maintain excellent communication with varied audience including children, parents, staff and administration.
- A passion and drive that inspire a love for learning & the ability to engage children in learning activities in a fun and interactive way.
- Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills.
- Develop full-scale project plans refining as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Facilitate the definition of project scopes, goals and deliverables.
- Define project tasks and resource requirements.
- Constantly monitor and report on the progress of assigned projects to all stakeholders at all levels across the organization.
- Assemble and coordinate project teams.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Maintain professional competence through participation in applicable staff development activities.
- Assume other duties as assigned.
