Work Hours / Days: Normal School hours / 215 days

JOB GOAL
To support HPS alumni to have their postsecondary degree. To provide support in the advancement of the campus wide college and career awareness, exposure and readiness services. To support, maintain, and sustain campus college and career going atmosphere. POSITION QU ALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience (preferred)
• Experience in college counseling (preferred)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Understands and supports the mission, vision and values of Harmony Public Schools.
• Assists Assistant Area Superintendent - C ollege & Career with assigned functions for district
• Provides support to campuses in post- secondary success .
• Assist s in the delivery of District C ollege and Career professional development activities in post- secondary success.
• Supports district and campus C ollege & Career goals.
• Supports campuses to resolve C ollege and Career program concerns and problems in post- secondary success .
• Manages College Mentoring program such as alumn i recruitment as mentors for high school students
• Manages and supports Harmony offered scholarships for district alumni
• Manages and supports Harmony College Leaders team attending focus colleges
• Organizes campus alumni led college and career panels and ta lks to increase high school students' college and career going identity
• Supports campuses to maintain positive alumni relations events such as reunions and homecoming events
• Provides college success in person (once per year) and virtual (once quarterly) c oaching support to First Generation Low Income (FGLI) campus graduates in their second year in college.
• Maintains Harmony Alumni Network website and social media accounts with announcements, news, events and activities
• Actively engages in recruitment effo rts for Harmony Gradulet organization to support Harmony Postsecondary Dropout prevention.
• Supports college campus events and programs to increase college persistence and completion
• Visits college campuses regularly to support freshmen and sophomore HPS Alumni
• Visits campuses as needed to support C ollege and Career services and programs.
• Supports district wide college and career partnership with local universities and colleges for post- secondary success.
• Supports HPS homegrown talent recruitment into HPS system such as GYOT
• Provides C ollege and Career reports for district and campus leadership.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management, both internal and external to the district.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internal and external to the district.
• Ability to use computer including software, database used by the district, spreadsheet and word processing software, calculator, copy machine and telephone.
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
• Ability to use effective interview techniques, effective public speaking skills, and problem- solving skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Light Work: may require the occasional light lifting.
• Nights and weekend activities will be occasionally required.
• Position is in office setting and may involve prolonged work at a desk in one location.
• Moderate travel is required.
