Adlai E. Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) is seeking a 10-month, full-time Mathematics Tutor for the 2021-2022 school year.
Description:
The Mathematics Tutor is a full-time position from 9am - 5:30 pm daily. The Mathematics Tutor will be provide support in person and through zoom in the following areas:
Qualifications are as follows but not limited to:
ISBE licensure required. Must have a Para Professional License (PARA), Substitute License (SUB) or a Professional Educator License (PEL).
Professional Educator License with mathematics endorsement is preferred.
Strong Calculus skills are a plus.
Strong communication skills to create meaningful connections with students and faculty required.
Teaching experience with high school students as well as providing support as part of Response to Intervention programs preferred.

- Provide instructional support to students in mathematics, particularly in Algebra, Geometry and all levels of Calculus.Work collaboratively with math teams in supporting and documenting student progress.
