OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

Administers the performance of the Office of Management and Compliance Audits which is designed to assist staff in the effective and efficient discharge of their responsibilities by furnishing objective analyses, appraisals, recommendations, and pertinent comments concerning the activities reviewed.  Writes reports submitted concurrently to the Audit and Budget Advisory Committee and the Superintendent.  Makes oral presentations and provides answers at the Board’s request.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting.
2. Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Florida.
3. Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible supervisory experience, after obtaining degree, in public accounting, internal auditing, or finance with at least four (4) years of senior management level experience, after obtaining degree, in financial auditing areas.
4. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
