Job Summary

Supports the actualization of the Duval County School Board's strategic plan by assisting with the with planning, directing, developing, coordinating, overseeing, and monitoring of districtwide strategies and actions. Develops system wide business processes to efficiently monitor and implement both academic and operational outcomes and audit corrective actions. Provides wraparound support to departments throughout the organization to ensure resources are maximized and utilized efficiently and aligned to the district vision. Serves as a key player in supporting initial planning phases and development of implementation through the setting of milestones and adoption of tools and efficient processes. Leads and supports staff with evaluations of departmental programs, initiatives leading to overall district efficiencies.

7. Researches, reviews, and analyzes district programs, activities, reports, and/or systems to determine their application and compliance with the needs of the district, and local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations.

8. Researches, compiles data, conducts special studies, and prepares written reports, presentations, and correspondence.

9. Plans, schedules, assigns, reviews, and evaluates the work of assigned employees.

Qualifications

Education: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Educational Leadership, Public Policy, or a related field.

Experience: Five (5) years administrative and/or management experience emphasizing data analysis; research; public administration, strategic planning and program review and evaluation. Experience with a governmental entity or public school district preferred.
