Description of Services:
The St. Peter Title I Summer Learning Camp Coordinator/Teacher, under the direction of the Title I Coordinator and School Principal, will be responsible for developing and overseeing an in person learning program that will help selected students from Cambridge become successful learners during the two-week Summer Learning Camp period (July 26-August 6). Cambridge students attending St. Peter School are eligible. The Coordinator/Teacher will work with classroom teachers to recruit students to participate in the Title I Learning Camp prior to the beginning of the Camp and be responsible for obtaining all the necessary paperwork.
Minimum Requirements:
The Title I Summer Learning Camp Coordinator/Teacher will attend planning meetings, help identify and recruit teachers and teach students during the summer session. The Title I Summer Learning Camp Coordinator/Teacher must maintain all records, keep accurate timesheets and work with team members to coordinate at least one parent event and prepare a report at the end of camp. The Title I Summer Learning Camp Coordinator/Teacher will work 4 hours each day during the 10 days for a total of 40 hours. Additional (outside of normal school hours) five hours for recruitment and 10 hours for pre-camp planning for a total of 55 hours.
Period of Contract May 24, 2021 through August 6, 2021
Amount of Contract: Not to exceed $1,980
Payment Terms: $36 per hour
