Qualifications/Certifications:

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

To install, maintain and service computer systems, network hardware and cabling including fiber at all district sites in an accurate and timely fashion to maintain an optimal learning and business environment. Implement the district's current and future use of technology in the area of networks, multimedia, hardware and software.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Two year degree from an accredited educational institution required. Computer Science, Math, Science or related technical field preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for Associate's Degree, two (2) years experience for one year of college.

2. Two (2) year's experience in computer and multimedia related field.

3. Hardware and software platforms experience, consistent with the District's Information Services Strategic Plan.

4. A+ Certification, or technical certification approved by the Assistant Superintendent of Information Services or Designee required.

5. Valid Florida Driver License.
