Carbondale Middle School is seeking a full time Special Education (SSN) teacher for the 2021-2022 school year.

Candidates must be well versed in crafting effective IEP goals and exhibit the ability to manage, track, and communicate data that shows progress toward student learning targets. Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration between classroom teachers, families, and the student are essential, as is a strong and current knowledge base about learning disabilities.

The successful candidate will be able to combine creative lesson design, appropriate instructional strategies and accommodations, and a dedication to student outcomes that levels the playing field to make grade-level content accessible to all students. Our special education model includes small groups, pull out instruction and team teaching opportunities.

Pay Range

$41,140 * 61,495 **Based on education and years of experience

**Annual salary noted above is based on an 8 hour day (FTE 1) and full days worked calendar. Any position that is less than a full FTE/8 hours per day or late start will be prorated accordingly.
