Associate Principal for Instruction K-12 (Secondary Level) - Multiple Locations

The district is looking for licensed or in process to be licensed educational administrators who are equity focused, possess deep instructional knowledge and are results oriented as it relates to improved instructional practices and evidenced in student achievement to fill these roles.
A successful Associate Principal or Intern Associate Principal will work with the school community to create, pursue, and monitor a vision for instruction, school conditions and collaboration that seeks equitable outcomes for students. This person will lead the way for improvements in student achievement and staff performance through professional development, instructional leadership, and coordination of a comprehensive tiered intervention system. The Associate Principal or Intern Principal will adhere to the Iowa Standards for School Leaders.

• Job title: Associate Principal for Instruction K-12 -(Multiple locations) for those individuals who are fully licensed
• Salary range for Associate Principal for Instruction K-12: $74,649 - $95,680
• Job Title: Intern Associate Principal for Instruction K-12 - Secondary Level (Multiple Locations) for those individuals who are in process to be licensed educational administrators
• Salary range for Intern Associate Principal for Instruction K-12: $70,214-$84,953
• Family medical and dental benefits are offered to employees. Employees can participate in the district Wellness program.
• IPERS - state retirement benefits
• Moving expenses paid up to $6,000, if candidate moves into district boundary
• 230-day contract - Work beginning July 2021
• Iowa administrator license required for Associate Principal for Instruction K-12
• Iowa teaching license or BOEE recognized professional service license with verification of educational leadership program started for Intern Associate Principal for Instruction K-12
• Iowa evaluator approval required for Associate Principal for Instruction K-12
