Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pennsylvania Adult Services provides programs and services for adults with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities Located in Berwyn Pennsylvania this position is responsible for developing and coordinating the planning of swimming and recreation programing for Adult Services Center individuals. In addition you will assist the recreation and activities manager with activities for community and campus programs.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelors degree in Vocational Education, Rehabilitation Education, Psychology, Special Education, Human Services or related field, preferred. Bachelors degrees in other fields will be considered w/ 30 credits in Human Services. Associates degree in Vocational Education, Rehabilitation Education, Psychology, Special Education, Human Services or related field, required. Associates degrees in other fields will be considered w/ 15 credits in Human Services.

Experience : Current valid Lifeguard certification required (CPR/First Aide for the Professional Rescuer is included within this certification). Must be certified to train and retrain lifeguards. At least one (1) year experience working with working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses with Bachelor's. At least three (3) years' experience working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses with Associates degree. At least one (1) year supervisory and/or lead staff experience required. Must have knowledge of regulatory requirements. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
