The Research Assistant collaborates with staff in the Research Office and other departments to ensure
that the services are aligned to their needs.

Detailed Description The following information is intended to describe the overall nature and scope of the work being performed in relation to the position. This is not a comprehensive listing of all responsibilities or tasks; other work may be assigned when deemed appropriate:
* Supports the development, administration, analysis, and dissemination of results from surveys of key stakeholders.
* Assists with responding to data requests from different stakeholder groups.
* Supports the review, approval, and monitoring of research requests in the division.
* Assists with development, writing, and sharing of reports as needed.
* Assists with providing data for assisting schools with conducting needs assessments and developing school improvement plans.

Job Requirements * Bachelor's Degree required
* Two years of experience as a research assistant or related experience
* Experience with Excel and statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, R, etc.)
* Experience with the design and dissemination of surveys
* Possesses personal characteristics necessary to work effectively with administrators and inter-departmental teams
* Strong oral and written communication skills

loudly, or quickly. The employee must possess normal cognitive abilities including the ability to learn, recall and apply certain practices and policies. Frequently sitting and/or remaining in a stationary position for long periods of time.
Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
