POSITION SUMMARY

The Systems Administrator (Lawson) is responsible for the technical support and system administration of the cloud based enterprise resources planning (ERP) (Infor's Human Capital Management (HCM) GHR and Lawson Financials V10). The incumbent supports, the design, build and configuration of the Infor application suite. The incumbent will implement, support and troubleshoot the Infor environments. The systems administrator will be responsible for on-going system level support of Infor product lines and security, utilizing provisioning, and creating a security matrix. The incumbent will be familiar with application development, LAN/WAN/NOC, system installation/configuration, security technologies, server management and database management to provide well rounded support. The systems administrator maintains application availability, maintains reliability and serves as the primary point of contact for on-going production maintenance, support and outages.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Provides on-going system level support of Infor product line environments and security
  • Maintains data level security by product line, class, form and attribute
  • Provisions system access; creates security classes, roles, users and distribution groups
  • Analyzes requirements and configures GHR and Lawson to defined standards
  • Conducts unit testing during the implementation of services to verify intended performance
  • Works with the team to develop solutions that infuse quality standards and include validation of outcomes to predetermined expected results
  • Proactively monitors the system for issues, develops and implements resolutions while keeping stakeholders and users informed
  • Leads and/or participates in patches and upgrades of the Infor/Lawson systems
  • Works independently to research root cause and implement long term fixes to issues, communicating with vendor as needed, for additional assistance
  • Creates and maintains proper documentation for all systems, installations, and processes; establishes standard operating procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator
  • Required to attend scheduled shift during regular business hours as mandated


Requirements :

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, management information systems, information technology, computer science, or a related field required

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:

Infor/Lawson certification a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • 2 years of IT work experience required
  • 2 years of work experience with Infor HCM or Lawson products required

Compensation :

Salary Grade: 130

Salary Range: FY'21 APS Salary Schedule (All Positions)
